Hello Everybody,
I was just wondering what you all where giving up for lent? Me I'm giving up peanut butter its my drug. If it is in the house I can eat the whole jar slaps wrist bad Leslie. Well maybe when lent is over I can try to learn how to portion it. So what are you all giving up and what did you eat for fat Tuesday? Me I did not temp myself with anything there was nothing I was really craving for.

I'm cutting my alcohol consumption to 2 cans of beer a week, and I'm not taking the elevator at college. Stairs for me! I find that I waste so many calories with alcohol, and don't realise it, so if I cut down (don't want to quit completely) I should be able to keep track of things better.
Best of luck with giving up things for lent to everyone!0 -

I'm giving up on giving things up.
I will not deny myself anything for the sake of denying, but some things I know are not good for my body so I will not poision it with them.0 -

I'm going to park further away from my building on campus (basically giving up the convenience of parking close) and buying makeup/clothes I don't need. Nothing really food related this year. Last year I gave up candy.0

Anything white. White sugar, potatoes, pasta, rice, bread and flour!0

Rather than give something up this year, I'm going to add more prayer every day, for whomever in my life needs it most :-)
Best of luck to everyone giving up junk / sweets! My entire weight loss / lifestyle change began in Lent of 2009 when I chose to give up literally everything I knew was bad for me. I started educating myself and reading ingredient lists . . . have never looked back.0 -
Here's a question. Everyone that is giving up certain things (like chocolate for instance) for lent....what's going to happen tomorrow? [Valentine's Day]0
