Hii.. ok im not really a cooker. I would like to find easy recipes that are low calories and are simple. I'm not looking for like a bunch of weird things mixed into one. Just simple things..

So any simple easy foods to make that are generally under 300cal? Thanks:)

Have a lovely day

Breakfast? Soups? Dinners? Any foods in particular to try or avoid?

Two Chicken breasts, half a jar of your favorite salsa, a bit of taco seasoning. Place all in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or high 4-6, shred chicken (Will fall apart anyway). Great on tortillas or rice. :-)

How do the chicken breasts go in? Frozen? thawed? Doesn't matter?

anything stirfry is easy. just put a little sesame oil in wok (or frying pan), throw diced veggies in there (broccoli, carrots, peas, etc. - frozen's fine if you're really lazy  ), throw in an egg or some other protein, some brown rice, saute for a few minutes with soy sauce and voila! to keep it low calories, don't put that much rice in.
  • I just posted this in another thread, but will post here too as it fits the bill. I use this recipe a lot as it's super easy and freezes well. Doesn't get easier than a crockpot!
