tattoo convention

has anyone been tattooed at a tattoo convention? I want to go to one in the summer but it doesn't really share that much info about waittimes, prices, appointments, etc. I don't want to buy a ticket and then not get tattooed ya know. What is your experience?

    I realize this is pretty late to reply, but I do know that for most tattoo conventions (or all, I'm not positive) you have to make appointments in advance with the artist you want. How far in advance depends on how popular the artist is.
