Same weight, Different body!

So since a month ago Ive lost 6 lbs, but 10.5 inches, mainly with 3.5 off my hips and 2.5 off my waist. I would love to see pics of transformations from those of you who have lost less than 10 lbs but reshaped your body. I would like to get some inspiration to remember fit>skinny!

I might post mine later when I'm home - I've lost 10lbs since Jan. But I've also lost 5 inches off of my waist and 3inches off of my hips through weight lifting.

I don't think i look much different though, I've got a long way to go yet!

Well done...I so wish I had taken photos and measurements when I started dieting in 2009. I lost 49lbs and went from a size 16 to an 8 to 10. Now at age 40 I am in far better shape than I was at 30. Am now concentrating on getting fit and toned with Kettercise, Jillian Michaels, running and weight training. Body Pump class tonight!
  • This is inspiring, especially today as Im feeling poo about it all.
Im stuck on the same 9lbs I lost in first few weeks of Jan. I had lost inches at beginning of this month so I am hoping at the end of the month there will be even more inches off, even if the scales stay the same!!!

    No pictures but similar results...

3 years ago I was at 145 lbs wearing a size 10 jeans and s/m tops, probably about 30% BF, cardio and P90X were my main workouts.

The past year I have been about 170 lbs, wearing a size 10 jeans and s/m tops, probably about 25-26% BF, lifting and endurance running have been my main workouts.

<--- taken this morning, 166 lbs

I posted a topic on this a few days ago! I've included a link to the post below but it's also my profile pic. The left picture is from January 2013 and the right picture is summer 2011. I weigh the exact same amount in both! This is what lifting has done for me :)

I agree! I've been getting so frustrated lately because my weight hasn't moved, but then I realized that I've lost 8 inches in the past month, so I must be doing something right! :)
  • im so happy to see others focused on health and fitness rather than numbers on a scale!
