Weightloss Stall :(

Hi all,
This is my first post!
I am trying to lose 2.5 stone. I have been dieting and exercising for 5 weeks now. I lost 9lbs in the first 4 weeks (ignore my weightloss ticker - I used to use myfitnesspal a while ago and didnt reset the weight when I returned!).
In the last week I havent lost anything at all! I am eating between 1000 - 1500 calories a day and doing over an hours exercise a day.
Any help?

Should probably not expect to lose every week, and you should figure out how much you should be eating (TDEE - %cut) for your activity level as 1000 calories isn't what you should be eating. Stick with something for 2 months, then post if stuck.0 -

Thank you - I havent really put much effort into lowering calories, I have just cut out snacks. I am a veggie and eat alot of salads, so my calorie intake is never very high!0

You will not loose weight every week.Weight seems to sort of 'swoosh' off on its own time. Keep consistent with your diet and exercise.
Once your further in the game, you may need to change your goals to fit your new weight/activity level, but you have some time.

Drink more water, as counterintuitive as that sounds... flush it out!0

Have you kept measurements i know the scale hasnt moved for me i dropped 36 pounds in a little over two months but i see that im loosing inches i hate the scale is not moving but i know i have been building muscle that could be whats going on with u. Is ur jeans a little looser? I know how u feel when u dont see the scale move but its not always about that so dont give up im sure ur building muscle and thats why:)0

Thank you - I have been taking measurements, same story really - lost 1.5 inches in first for weeks and then stalled! I hope it picks up again soon!0
