If you're interested, here it is. If not, shame on you.
PER PEAR
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (I used sugar-free)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp butter (I used light)
- Preheat oven to 375 F, oven times may vary.
- Combine maple syrup, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and water.
- Peel (optional, but I did) & half pears and place them in a baking dish face-side up.
- Dollop butter into each half.
- Drizzle 'mixture' evenly over each one.
- Roast pears for 20 minutes, occasionally brushing with juice.
- Flip over, repeat brushing.
- Roast an additional 20 minutes or until tender.
- Top with brown sugar, serve with ice cream, or whatever. I ate mine as-is and it was so good!
Calories: 178, Carbs: 42 (My pear was HUGE), Saturated Fat: 1 (Due to the butter, but not worth omitting), Protein: 1, Sodium: 98
* Edited to clarify, yes. Macros are for the whole pear. :flowerforyou:
