Hello, I'm a NewB & need support.

Just started 'myfitnesspal' this week. It is so easy to use and the novelty of filling in the meals and recipes does help with the motivation... but finding a support group would be great with some like minded people that have 50-70 pounds to loose. I put on weight when I had my children. Although I've lost it a number of times I've noticed that in the last few years it won't come off as easily (it's never easy but hopefully you know what I mean). I'm hoping to lose 5lbs, a month which I think is realistic and obtainable and will take me about 18 months to achieve my goal. It would be nice to find some people that are in it (or have been in it) for the long haul. I find the evenings the most difficult.

Welcome to MFP. I will send you a friend request! I have been on MFP since 1/3/13 and have lost 15 lbs. I am excited by this! I always joke that I still carry my baby weight, but my baby is now 16 (really no excuses). Anyway, you can do this. Just honestly track everything you eat and enter your exercise and you will start seeing results. I have about 55+ lbs to lose. We can do this!0

Hello, I'm a NewB too. I also gained most of my weight when pregnant with my children. I would like to loose at least 50 pounds but would be thrilled if I could loose 65 pounds. I am also looking for support and encouragement from someone I can go through the process with.0
