Today's free app of the day on the Apple store is the runstastic HRM pro! I just used it (I'm sitting at my desk) and it actually worked! I've downloaded HRM apps before and they have NEVER worked.

It's downloading now. Thanks for the tip, we'll see. Hmmm, MG_Fit, it was free for me. I searched "runtastic heart" and it popped up as the free app of the day.0

Make sure you're looking at the heart rate pro, not just runtastic pro.0 -
It's the "runtastic Heart Rate PRO" app that's free, not the "runtastic PRO" app.it says 4.99 for me0 -

FWIW - There's another app on there that's pretty much the exact same thing (measures heart rate from camera) and is always free...
