P90X - my carbs aren't "adding up" on MFP per portion contro

Good evening!

I've started the P90X phase 1 level 1 "fat shredder" where I am allowed 1 carb serving for the day. When I follow the portion control amount (ex: 1 whole wheat pita) and log it into MFP with my carbs set to 30%, by the end of the day I'm still low - despite all my other foods and their contribution to to the carbs....

Should I add another carb so I'm in a real 50/30/20 zone?

    No, I would change my ratios to meet the P90X standards.............

    My ratios are set to the P90X standards. But what they are telling me to eat is not adding up to 30% of carbs.

    If your protein and fats are within the ratios, you will have a burst of energy and over all feeling of wellness (feeling great) in about 3 days, even in the absence of carbs.

    The nutrition guide does have some faults, so I'd trust what I input in my food diary and let MFP do the calculations.
