This is going around...
I was thinking Im like a 30-35%0 -
I'm not a fitness expert, but I would say it looks good. I would even think it should be lower than 28%, but again, I'm not an expert. Be very proud of what you have!0

Do you have a side picture too?
We all carry it differently. I'm still confused over mine, honestly. XD0 -
Looks about right to me. You don't appear to have much LBM.
The pictures are misleading because body type affects fat distribution.0 -
http://www.healthyforms.com/helpful-tools/body-fat-percentage.php i just tried this and got 21 percent for me and i think i have more fat than you do by pictures0

Everyone carries weight differently. I wouldn't use those pictures as reference. Just double check your calculations. Personally I think 28% looks about right.0

That makes sense...I just figured mine was higher because my belly is jiggly :ohwell:0 -
Naw, it looks about right.
You're pear shaped, so you're carrying the majority of your BF in your lower abdominal region and your legs, while your upper body is relatively lean.
Also, as 1Concretgirl pointed out, those above pictures are misleading. The 25% model is pear shaped, and actually looks like she has a higher BF% than the 30% model (which I believe is Kim K), because the 30% model's BF is more evenly distributed.0 -
Did you use an online BMI calculator or a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) or skin calipers to get your %? Where/how you got that # is significant.0

There's no way to isolate your core in order to lose fat directly from your stomach. Just continue to eat at a deficit, incorporate strength training if you're not doing it already, and be patient.
It'll come off, eventually. It just takes time and dedication.
Best of luck.0 -
Yeah, you also have to take into account the height of these women too.
And they're models. So I wouldn't be surprised if some of that is airbrushed too! There was a really good site out in the vast intarwebz which was a catalog of women sorted by weight and it's actually pretty amazing to see how we all vary even at the same height/weight!0 -

Awesome! Thanks, I seriously couldn't figure out what was going on, I couldn't even figure out what shape I was because I have a "mom belly"... All the lower abdomen fat made me confused LOL0 -

I'm 5'9...That's pretty tall as far as women go0 -

Skinfold calipers0 -
I'd say it looks about right0

I found "me"! Thanks!0 -
it's high... I'm 29.2% and I look in the 35% range.0

Looks about right.
And yeah, those pictures misleading. There's no way I look that good at 25-30%. My fat isn't that evenly distributed, I have cellulite (I'm sure they do too, but I'm guessing photoshop), and half my fat isn't in my boobs.0 -
I, too, would guess about 30-35%. It really depends on how much lean body mass you have, though.0
-
Your arms look really good so I think 28% is about right, you just have it in the middle so you feel like you have more.0
-
28% seems about right0

How about a full body pic? Legs can made a big difference.0

I would ask Sara or Sidesteel. They run this group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/10118-eat-train-progress0
