Iron

Options
Hi. I've noticed that I never reach my goal for iron, and I was wondering if any of you got any tips about low calorie but iron-rich foods for someone who is vegetarian? (I don't eat products that contains milk either, since I am allergic.)
Help me? :c

I take a multivitamin a few times a week to ensure I get enough iron.

I would note that a lot of the foods on the database simply do not include iron & vitamin information.. incase you, like I did, are relying only on what's on here! I did freak out that I appeared to be having 0% on several days!

Dried fruits are a great source, molasses, cooking with cast iron pans, and some of your green leafies. Remember you can ulock the iron better from your veggies if you combine it w/ a citrus acid like lemons, limes, Oranges.

    ^^This!

Good sources of iron are green leafy veg, fortified cereals, wholegrains, beans, nuts, dried fruits.
