What did you do for Valentines day?

OMG - I have heard of so many break ups it's so sad :frown:
I was lucky enough that my man drove across the city to see me, helped me prep dinner (he was suppose to make it but was running late due to traffic - yay Toronto :P), ate and played a card game I got from the dollar store called "know your partner" which he REALLY enjoyed, so did I. After dinner, we opened our gifts, I knew I was getting roses, but the ones he got me were surprising. A dozen peach and six red - they are BEAUTIFUL! He also got me a new wallet because I was complaining about the one I had haha. My roommate was home and we chatted a bith with him and then he had to go to footie (soccer). He was shocked and amazed at the gifts I got him and I'm 100% sure it helped us get even closer, so I'm very fortunate, happy and excited to see him again tonight0 -
When I got up, hubby had a single red rose and card for me; then I worked all day, got off, met my cousin for Weight Watchers meeting, then she and I picked up popcorn at the movie theater (just popcorn didn't go to movie, lol), picked up something for dinner, went back to her house and re-watched The Walking Dead.0

I took five shots of vodka and watched Glee with my best friend. Things could've been worse.0

My husband hasn't been sleeping well lately so he went to bed early and slept for a good 12+ hours, and I went for a...jog. I'm not a runner, I never used to like running, but for the past two weeks I've really wanted to go for a run so I went out and did a power walk/jog combo in the rain. It felt great.0

Did the usual day to day stuff, then cooked dinner for the family.
Afterwards, hubby and I went out to the strip club for boobies and beers. :drinker:0 -
Got up early, went to the gym, went to work. Was sure my hubby wouldn't do anything. Couldn't get a hold of him all day. He's not known for romantic gestures. . . Got home and found a vase of beautiful flowers in a lovely red vase and a smiling hubby and baby (17 months old). He even got our daughter a Valentines present - a little teddy bear holding a big ol heart. Then we ordered awesomly awful foods - pizza subs with cheesy bread and manicotti. We all pigged out and it turns out I didn't even go over my calories! Ended the night in my loving hubby's arms. I love being married.0

In order of your questions;
1) Worked my *kitten* off
2) Yes, the special restaurant is my place of employment
3) I estimate I fixed about 80 special meals, or a portion thereof, none of which I actually ate.
Glad it's over.0 -

My bf had class in the evening so I worked out, shoveled snow and had half a frozen veggie pizza for dinner w/a diet 7up while watching Charlie Brown’s Valentine’s Day thingy on Netflix.
Then I made chocolate mousse as we’re gonna celebrate tonight instead.
My bf was going to get us tickets to a ballet but we are going dancing tomorrow and seeing a play in the afternoon Sunday so I decided I’d rather stay home. I’ll figure out something yummy to make for dinner, open a bottle of wine and probably go to bed early.0 -
Made spaghetti, melted chocolate for dipped strawberries, watched "Ted," then watched the first half of "Gone with the Wind."0

Being single--I worked and then did zumba at home. I had buffalo wings and beer at the 99 restaurant. Then when to my local hangout with friends and had more beer. I didn't keep track of beer. Today is a new day to be back on track.0

Best Husband Ever surprised me with a card and a bouquet of my favorite flowers (peonies and ranunculus). We went out to dinner to this extraordinary Michelin-starred Italian restaurant (it was my first dinner out since I started tracking 40 days ago!). We had, I'm fairly certain, the best meal in the universe AND the chef came out and autographed a cookbook for me. All of this was extra thrilling because I was glugging a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Gold. On the way home we stopped by to visit our friends' new puppy--we hadn't seen them in 40 days, so they really noticed the 23lb loss; it was awesome.
That said, now I'm snuggling up to a hot cup of tea and some aspirin--be gone hangover!0
