Hello! I've been logging in my diary for just over 110 days. I've lost 33 pounds and find the system really great. What I like is I can keep track of everything easily, including exercise and this helps me with portion control. I"m already a healthy eater, but I can eat a lot. MFP has worked great for me. Feel free to friend me!
    Good luck!
  • Thanks will do!

Hi there! I just recently began as well. I'm not doing herbalife, I'm just doing a 30 day Zumba challenge. I think a great motivator is having a buddy system - and doing something that will keep you consistent (obviously, duh me!) The reason I'm doing the Zumba challenge is because hours after working out I felt the results and that motivates me to keep doing it because obviously it working. And I sweat like a catholic in church! I'm on day 4 and I can barely move... Feel free to friend me if you want!

  • Hello,my nameis Courtney I was told by my physician to come here as this is another self help tool. I have been working with my Dr. since June 2012 and to date I have lost 19 lbs as of yesterday. I'm excited that I have done so, but have a koing way to go. I take Zumba classes 4x a week and have noticed a change with body. I encourage everyne I meet to at least try a class. My weight was 230 and now I'm 211. It's all about eating right and knowing what I'm putting into my body. This morning was a real eye opener when logged in my breakfast..but I know this will help me learn about the importance of nutritional food and how much calories, fat etc,.are in the foods that i eat. I'm excited about my loss but even more excited that my journey has just begun and already seeing results. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you put 100% into it! Ifyou ever need encouragement or just want to chat abiut things, go ahead and reach out as we're all on this site to acheive the same goal!
  • I added you as well. As I am new to this also and needing support and motivation!!

Hello there, I have noticed that for me what works best is traditional healthy diet and exercise! I have a very hectic life style and if I can make time for health and fitness I know you can! I am a single mom who also has a full time job, I am away from home 12hours a day. When I get home its dinner, bath, and bed for my son. However, some nights I try to incorporate him into my workout routines, like dancing with him in my arms, Letting him sit on my chest while I do sit ups and using him to bench press. He is only 1 1/2 so for him it is having fun with mommy and it makes for a great workout!

Feel free to add me for support!
  • I appreciate everyones help and adds =] any workout tips weightloss secrets advice and recipes are more than welcome so we can keep in touch on this journey

I decided that I was going to change my life starting Jan. 3, 2013. I had lost 30 lbs before a few yrs ago and know that I can, just need to get over the 3 month hump.

Since starting, I used Leslie Sansones walk at home DVDs and Ive joined the gym. I use the elliptical and treadmill. I need to start weight training to tone things up now that Ive been working on cardio for awhile. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week. I started only working out for 30 mins, but I'm up to 60 min now and sometimes longer, depending on what I'm doing. Last night I burned 796 calories in an hour on the treadmill at 3.1 mph and a 6.0 incline.

I dont have any receipes to share just yet as I am struggling with that myself. I have been TRYING to eat more fruits and veggies, but sometimes its hard. I guess if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. :)
