    i'm a giver.

i think my wife has tried to take care of me when i am sick, but i feel guilty and usually get up and do what i need to do regardless.

Receiver. I'm high maintenance. (I wish that were a joke. It's not.) Not so much the material things - we are too broke to buy milk and cheese in the same week, so it's not like I need someone whose willing to buy the bling. But I'm crazy, occasionally hysterical, sometimes unhealthy, and prone overextending myself. I need someone who 1) has experience with the crazy 2) understands that medications/ disorders/ etc can and will have side effects I have no control over and 3) will be willing to cook for me.

Every night. I do clean, though. That seems to be appreciated, no matter whom I with.

Oh, they also must love cats. I'd give up a lover before I'd give away any of my cats.

Giver. I like to take care of other people and often put myself last.

I've moved myself up on the priority list lately... I've been doing better in school and I'm much healthier.

I guess it can take any form. I was specifically thinking of massages, back scratching, head scratching, caressing, that type of thing. I'm very much a giver. Been told I have healing hands, so I'm always touching, caressing, etc. lol! I love to give massages too.

Honestly I'd have to say I am a taker. I know that makes me sound selfish, but my husband is def. a giver, and likes doing things for me, so I suppose it works out. We've married for 23 years, so something's working!

Mostly a giver, although when I'm in a relationship I do like to be touched, massaged, hold hands, cuddle, spoon. My main love language is touch. I miss all those things :/
