Hi,
twice last month I was lucky enough to go out of town for vacation. Once to Mexico and once to New Orleans. Both times I stayed close to my calorie requirements and did cardiocascular excercises every day. Each time I returned having gained 3-4 pounds and then losing them in a week. Any thoughts on this?

My guess: Since all your food was prepaired by someone else it was probably a HUGE sodium overload. It took you about a week to flush it all out. Next time you take a trip try to up your water intake and you probably won't retain so much.

That's what I thought too and it was also hotter and more humid there, though I drank lots of water. I checked my sodium and there was a spike only on a couple of days, but then everyone adds differing amounts of salt to their dishes.
