frustrated

I've been on here for 2 weeks and have lost 5lbs. I've been SO motivated and have loved working out and eating better. It's been fantastic. I woke up yesterday and could barely walk. My knees are full of fluid. I've dealt with this on and off for years now, but have forgotten how much it interferes with my life. I had to get down on the floor to change my little girl, and it nearly did me in. I feel so down. I can't work out. I feel like i've finally made some good decisions in my life and have started getting my life back, and then this happens. I guess i just need to vent a bit, but i'm feeling crappy about the whole thing. :grumble:

    Keep your head up. There will always be something that tries to interfer. Can you exercise your upper body until your knees recover? At least stay focused on your eating habits until you heal. I know it is all easier said than done. If it were easy we all would be skinny little people instead of overweight.

    I know how that is my knees are like balloons after working out. Just remember that although you can't workout that doesn't mean you can't continue to eat right. You may have cut down time working out. but stick to you healthy meals/snacks decisions. Good luck. Elevate and ice.

    I can understand you but take time to heal and then take it slow getting back into working out. Try to eat right while you are healing and most of all...try to think POSITIVE!!! Hope this helps a little bit! :flowerforyou:

    I am so sorry! That sucks. Maybe can you swim? I know the university has open swim times. It will get better though!!
