I have been using it lately as well in coffee and ill put a pack of it in my homemade smoothie. When I looked into it the site said it was from a plant and that it is all natural. So far, it doesn't seem to be bad like the artificial sweeteners.

I also switched to stevia and find that NuNatural brand of stevia is noticeably less bitter than other brands. Just use a little until you find the right amount for you, stevia is quite sweet.

I use Stevia in the raw. I also use the flavored Stevia drops for my coffee.

Do some research Truvia is not all natural stevia -it contains mainly erythritol and some rebiana (derived from stevia with a patent pending on the process)-you can read the label to see this. There have been many complaints about the ads touting it as all natural and being a full stevia product hence the ad changes-they now state "born from the stevia plant".
