caloric deficit

according to this website http://nutritiondata.self.com/tools/calories-burned i 'd need 2074 calories a day.I need to cut 500 calories to lose 1 lb a week but i've never understood this:
if i have 300 calories for breakfast + 500 calories at lunch + 200 afternoon snack 1000 calories and then i exercise and i burn 200 calories it's like if i've never eaten 200 calories so my caloric deficit is more than 500 calories a day or what? I'm new :)
