There is no way to target fat in just your stomach. You just need to focus on losing fat in general. Not sure of your gender, but for men like me, we lose belly fat last. (typically)0

You can't spot reduce fat.
It comes off where it wants when it wants.
I have scoliosis (fused back T1-T10). Pilates and Yoga are awesome.0 -

This will be 'easier' for you than it would be for a male, but the answer is that you can't target fat loss in this way without surgery/liposuction. If it's partially 'bloat' rather than fat then make sure you are drinking enough water and do further googling to see which foods might reduce bloat.
You've done the right thing joining MFP - it will work and eventually the belly fat will disappear with the rest of the fat. Seek medical advice before you undertake exercise due to your condition, but some kind of exercise will be necessary.0 -
Hi, posture is really important to help tone and burn fat. also work hard on strengthening your core as this helps reduce waist fat but also helps burn fat everywhere.
i have lost 43 cm from my waist (upper roll) and 38cm from my hips (lower roll) and my measurements are still going down. I will always have loose skin there mostly but i have a waist now and shape which is great. Feel free to friend me and check out my before and after pics.0 -
There are programs out there that will show you the way forward in terms of losing weight around the midriff. Certain foods do tend to deposit fat around your stomach, but there are others that will help to reduce it and eliminate it.
Also there are execises you can do which will help to tighten up your abdomen.0 -
For many of us that is the last to go. Sadly, there is only one solution. Daily persistence with proper nutrition in conjunction with exercise. As others mentioned there is no such thing as spot reduction. It gets more difficult the lower your BF levels drop so little blips along the way seem to cost more.0

You make your belly smaller by eating at a caloric deficit. Heavy lifting is great for making things look better/tighter, though.0
