Hi,
Is anyone pregnant and struggling to maintain a normal weight gain during your pregnancy? I'm 16 weeks along and I have already gained 14 pounds. Although a good portion of the weight gain is water, I have horrible food aversion and I'm eating anything that I can. Any ideas on how to stick to healthy eating?

Congratulations! Talk to your doctor. Maybe he/she can refer you to a dietician? I had to see one because I had gestational diabetes. As soon as I started eating properly, I actually lost weight. It was fine, because I was really overweight when I was pregnant. Good luck :)

    congrats!
im 34 weeks and have gained about 20 lbs this pregnancy..
by my 10th week or so i had gained 12 lbs and in the last bit of the first trimester i lost 10 lbs because the sight of food made me feel ill. i initially set my goal to maintain and just ate what i could once the morning sickness went away.. ive slowly upped my calories but still have a hard time hitting my goals some days. try to get as much protein as possible and make sure you talk to your doc about your concerns.

There is group on here for those of us who are pregnant- Fit, Fabulous and Pregnant if you search.

I'm about 23 weeks and logging on here has really helped me stay on track. My best advice would be to keep the junk out of your house altogether.
