Hummus???

Options
I purchased some hummus for the first time and would like to know what to eat with it. Do I just use crackers? Give me some ideas. I got roasted peppers. Thanks for your input.

    Crackers
    Pita Chips
    Pita bread
    raw Bell peppers
    Baby carrots

You can spread it on pita bread and eat it with falafel.

    Enjoy

Hummus was part of my dinner tonight.

About once or twice a week, my dinner will be celery sticks, baby carrots, raw green beans, sliced turkey, and hummus. It's a finger-food meal and I just dip everything. I love it.

Of course, falafel with hummus is an obvious choice.

It makes a really nice addition to a salad. Just a big blob on top of the salad.

Pretzel sticks or Wheat Thins make a great dipping tool for a snack.

Pita bread. Also try to get some "Harissa" (Ha-ree-sah) which is an arabic chilli sauce, it goes really well with it. Grind in some black pepper too, that makes a difference if you get bored.

LOVE Hummus, and soo good for you.

I use raw carrots peeled - the real long ones, not baby. I am sure baby carrots are fine, but I just never get any flavor out of them!

And also Kashi whole wheat pita chips with roasted garlic or supremely spicy hummus. YUMMM!!!

Also delicious in a whole wheat tortilla with chicken breast, a little salsa, onion and cilantro. You will eat that until you are so sick of it. But that's after a couple of weeks.

Make sure you put the tortilla on a low open flame for a few seconds on each side before you fill it with chicken, hummus, salsa and onions. Killer.

It's Middle-Eastern fast food. It's ground chickpeas, rolled into balls, and fried. You put a few in a pita, with some Israeli Salad, tahini and hummus. It's perfection.
