protein v calories

I often go over on protein but will be under in calories Is that bad, or do need to stay with in the given limits for my weight and not go over on any of the items , calories, fat, carbs. and protein.

I think the default setting for the macros on MFP is a little off kilter. You can customize them for your needs. I go for about 45-50% from carbs, 25-35% from fats, and the remainded from protein, but I work out 6 days a week and do heavy weight lifting, so that works for me. It depends on what your activity level is and what kind of workouts you do how much protein you need. But going over your protein just means fewer of your calories are coming from fats or carbs, and that is not a bad thing.0

i go over my protein i would say like 4-5 days a week...and i loose weight. its not bad at all...especially if ur working out0
