What heart rate monitor are you using?

I am a poor student that wants to get in shape... Any suggestions for HRMs?

    I recently bought one for my wife called pulse sonic, it was £9.99 from eBay. It even does calories burnt. We compared it to my polar and its pretty accurate!

    I have a Polar FT7 but it wasnt cheap. I think about $150

    Just bought this pulse sonic hrm too - I used it doing insanity and at the end I checked it and took the following photo:

    The 93 is my heart rate as it is coming back down so that's fine but quick question on the calories burned display. Does this mean I burned 358 cals, and what is the 42 underneath kcal? Stupid question I know but I've never used these before and the instruction leaflet doesn't advise and I just want to make sure I'm reading it correctly.
