Will using kettlebells help with this??
[img]http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a512/amberox4/3B64E3DC-AE29-46F3-9134-5479754A2677-666-000000ED11672514.jpg[/Iimg] I've been told to LIFT HEAVY so i thought about getting a kettle bell to start with, i am unsure whether to get a 6kg or a 8kg though.. Most people have advised 8kg but i dont know if i will be able to lift it as im only small and have very little muscle as it is, but i want to be able to build muscle so my stomach tones. Should i get an 6kg or 8kg kettlebell? Will i be able to tone my stomach? Have kettle bells worked for you? What exercises do you do with them? Please help as im just about to order one and want to make sure its right!! (I know ive posted these pictures before but im just about to order so i thought it would be suitable)[/img]

Don't get me wrong kettlebells are great but they're more designed for endurance and circuit type work.
They're not exactly what I have in mind when I say lift heavy.0 -
im so stuck on whether to get a 6 or 8kg!0

go with the 8. you're going to be doing compound movements so you will outgrow the 6's quickly
8kg is a good weight to start with, but you also want to make sure that you get heavier ones as you get stronger0 -
Depends on your size and strength. I've been doing kettlebells for a while and I started with 10lbs. but didn't stay there long. However, I'm still on 15lbs. for any of the one armed exercises and 20lbs. for the two-handed ones. I'm also fairly small (5'3" and 123 lbs.) and 20 lbs. makes me tip over!0
