Trainers

I'm overweight and it suits me to briskly walk. I walk just under 4 miles (the distance between my office and my home) and I do this at present twice per week. Sadly it takes a toll on my legs and feet and while I could do it more I start to get a bit of pain.

I bought a pair of trainers a year ago to help with this. Nothing special, just Addidas ones, however I did go to a proper shop and have my gait videod to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong, and thankfully I walk properly so I don't need any special trainers. They've done the job well, but it's time for an upgrade.

What I do need is a good bit of support. to minimise shim splints or sore feet the morning after.

Ideally I don't want them to be eye catching - I'm in my mid 30s not mid teens - and money is no object, I don't think trainers cost more than £150 usually and I'll happily spend that or more if it makes a difference.

If you know a shop where they do the video thing, go ask them which support you best, they are experts as they do this every day!
