NSV - Inches

Total of 16.5 inches gone in the last 43 days. Man was I surprised. I am feeling good and I hope that never changes. 33.5 lbs gone helps alot too.

I started my journey Sept 2012 after a life threating scare - ectopic pregnancy that ruptured. After my recovery I knew I needed to make a change in my life not just for myself but also for my family.

But as usual the holidays got me, but I gained control and took the raines back over Jan 2nd. I even have my husband on the wagon now, he has lost a total of 18 lbs since Jan 1st.

I still have a long way to go but I know I can do it!!!!!!:flowerforyou:

  • I thought there was better support on this site than this, I posted this 3 days ago and no comments. I guess since it did not have pics it was no good enough.

Hope everyone has a better day than me.

    Hi Dana_

Hope you are feeling Good, even tho we seem to have missed your post(s)!!!!

That is a great NSV and a great inch loss. The dreaded January blues after the holiday festivities seem to have affected a lot of people. You seem to have got through it tho which is brilliant. What sort of things have you been doing?
  • I just saw this now but that is an awesome job!

Keep up the awesome work! Awesome that you have your hubby included as well!

Great Job! I hope I have the same success! You are such and inspiration! It is so hard to stay on track.
  • That is AMAZING! You've got the best of both worlds, dropping weight AND inches. Keep up the amazing work, and imagine where you'll be at the end of this year :)

I just saw this as well and I'm down 8.5" since end of Jan. I think the problem with no one responding though wasn't due to lack of pics, but more to time of post. Unfortunately (and fortunately) there are so many great success stories that from 9 pm until 7 am (when I might finally get back on) there s a flood of replies or new stories that push some (like your great NSV) down the list.
  • I started this journey last June. I am really thinking I should have measured myself along with weekly weigh ins. Guess it's never too late? Good job for you and feel free to FR me, I could use the motivation! :-)

Congratulations! That sounds great. I am using a picture of myself from 5 years ago as inspiration as well. I put too picture of myself now and then as my screen saver on my computer, so I have to see it every day. It's really helping.

You know, I did not think anout using my motivation picture as my computer picture too, I only have it on my profile picture, but I am sure changing it now. Thanks
