During every race I have two goals: 1. to finish and 2. to not finish last. I grew up in Central Oregon where there are a lot of athletes this was the only way I could get myself to enjoy racing both running and xc skiing. Now I am more competitive but it worked during the time.lol Just run and enjoy yourself the rest falls into place.0

If you haven't started yet, I want to recommend a program called 5k 101. There is an app and here is the website

I have been a C25K failure, many times over. I have never been a runner and had never run even a mile. I absolutely loved the 5k101 app. I started it last September and ran my first 5k in December at 31:42. I did another 5k in January and came in at 29:58. I sooo wanted to beat that 30 minute mark.0 -
My first one was 40:10 and I thought that was pretty good with zero training. I have since done the C25K and now continuing with the 10K app. Fo my next 5K in March I would like to do 30 min but will accept 35.0
