Any vegetarians out there?

Any other vegetarians on MFP? I'd love to see some diaries and get ideas of what the veggies are eating to stay full and stay within 1200-1400 calories each day. I have a few go to meals to keep me in my calorie range, but I'd love to mix it up a bit! Any suggestions? Please add me as a friend so I can see how you keep full!

I am a pescetarian but really eat about 85% vegan. I usually have fish 1x a week or less, eat very little dairy, and occasionally have eggs.
  • I am not, but I am considering becoming one so I would be interested in seeing diaries as well!

    YES! :)
  • Hi I'm a vegan about 95% of the time, and I'm 100% vegetarian, so add me! Actually, you should also check out this vegan food blog. It's my favorite, and I'm so depressed not being able to cook all the recipes now that I'm living at college :(

I'm on board! Looking for some low calorie protein sources. There is a lot of conflicting info out there. What have you found helpful? And can we please come up with easy recipes without 20 ingredients?

Actually, my lunch from yesterday was a recipe of that blog - the butternut squash and black bean burritos! The only problem is that after I input the recipe into MFP, I saw how high in calories it was, so I'm not 100% sure about that source. I have pinned a couple of recipes from the blog, but I'll be entering them into MFP for calorie counts before I make them.

Sometimes I'll post my own recipes on my blog or take recipes and modify them to make them a bit healthier. If anyone's interested, here's the URL to my blog: http://palakspalate.blogspot.com/

I am veggie. You can look at my diary. Recently I have upped my calories, but I was eating between 1200 and 1400 before, so if you look back a ways you can see.
