Anyone tried Insanity?

Hello...I wanted to know if anyone every tried Insanity and is a female that has experienced great results? Thinking of investing in the set, but wanted some feedback first.

  • One of my best friends started insanity three weeks ago, and she's lost ten pounds already! Once she's finished with the set, I'm going to borrow them. So I'd say it's TOTALLY worth it as long as you put in the work!

    I'm doing it right now! It's a killer but I am seeing some abs 30 days in!!
  • Wow awesome!!! I'm going to try it out, the problem that I have is not being able to honestly commit myself to anything and I really want to lose at least 38lbs. before my 38th birthday (although, I really need to lose at least 100lbs.) I'm not active at all and regular start up workouts and later quit. But I'm going to try this. Thanks for the comments!!

    On Day 1 of Month 2 and feeling awesome!

    I was getting unmotivated because even though I FEEL so much stronger (and am, a long day snowboarding was enough to prove that this program is getting results where I want them), I actually gained a few pounds the first month. My friend has completed the Insanity 60 day challenge and the same thing happened to her, she motivated me with her before and after pics and said that her results started SHOWING in month 2. So just stick with it!

    I'm starting week 3 of Insanity, and haven't seen any change on the scale yet, or in my measurements. I have noticed a difference in my strength and stamina! I took 3 weeks though to complete the first first 2 weeks of the schedule - took some time to get used to everything!

    I keep reading that most of the results come in the second month. I certainly hope that's true!

    If you're not active, I say start with Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution. Insanity is a bit tough starting off. I borrowed a set from my friend and I'm doing it 1x a week on top of JMBR, as well as running 3x a week.
