Protein food through airports

Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever tried taking home made protein bars through an airport, I normally have mine wrapped in a bit of tin foil to keep them fresh but am a little concerned that they may look a little odd going through the scanners!
Same for powders fortunately my whey is all flavoured but the casein is unflavoured, white and well would look suspicious in a small plastic bag!
Anyone with any experience let me know. Flying to finland later for a couple of days.
Cheers

Depending where you are, I'd check for customs issues. No idea on Finland, but I know here in Aust you can't bring any "homemade" food stuffs that isn't processed and packaged correctly, i.e. cryovacced.0

I always check out this website before buying any protein products - www.excellentprotein.com - My personal favourite is the Supreme Protein Carb Conscious Bar because of the high protein:carb ratio.0
