Curing and marinating, seasoning flavors, all come into play.

This is so true. And...you need to consider their diet, culture and ethnicity. For example....the difference between corn-fed beef and grass-fed beef. There is a subtle flavor difference. So you need to prepare and season a person raised on Mediterranean cuisine completely different than you would someone raised on traditional English fare. It's all very important and much harder than preparing chicken.

People are just fine as long as your keep your distance, don't make eye contact, and generally resist any type of interaction.

Generally, I don't own one. How many blow up dolls does one generally need?

Not when properly caged. Adequate bedding and light inhibitor go along way towards domestication.

I am weak...or a sucker for punishment. Despite the warning bells my brain sets off, I still smile, politely say hello...

In that case you would be best prepared steamed, with a little bearnaise on the side.

I'm ok with people as long as they're not interacting with me or anyone else anywhere within my visual scope and hearing radius.

Mostly I've enjoyed specific people. There were a couple times, many years ago, when I enjoyed people in a more "general" sense.

Problem with this is that then you become the person everyone wants to tell their whole life story to....I know from experience ;_;. And then you learn things no other human should ever have to know. It's a vicious cycle...
