Do men lose weight faster, or am I imagining things?

I see a lot of men posting on the success threads that they lost 100 or even 200 in less than a year, but I rarely see a woman who's lost over 100 in under a year. What's up with that? Congratulations to guys who do. What's your secret?

Yes, they do. Our bodies are designed to hold onto fat in order to support child bearing and nursing. Also, men burn 300-500 calories more per day, all other factors the same (age, weight, activity).

Yes, but if it makes you feel any better, I think we put it on faster too. Or at least that's my unscientific observation.0
