I love Fiber One bars! I don't eat the low cal version though. Still, it's my go-to for when I get chocolate cravings. With a glass of vanilla soy milk. So delicious!0

The Fiber One caramel nut protein bars are famazing.0

I love the Fiber One bars as well. Another of my recent favorites is the Kashi Dark Mocha Almond Chewy Bars. At only 130 calories they are yummy and filling! The peanut butter one is great too.0

Spread with one tablespoon peanut butter and served with a glass of milk. I feel like a five year old when I have this snack. A very happy five year old.0 -
Yup, love'm! Usually use clear fiber powder for my first 9g fiber boost for the day. If I still need more for daily quota, then Fiber One bars are next choice for another 9g boost. Have 3 big @$$ Sam's Club boxes of them at home and keep about a dozen bars at work.0

I learned something about fiber in a nutritional class that might be helpful for those who are complaining about the cramping and gas after eating the fiber one bars.
A typical person has less than 15g of fiber per day. You are suppose to have a health amount of 25-30 grams of fiber. The fiber one bars have 9grams of fiber in just one bar. Therefore, if you eat more than one a day (and you are not used to the high fiber diet), then you will definitely cramp and get gas. You are to gradually increase fiber to 25 grams to avoid that.
*I know this is a definite, because ironically the night I learned about fiber my husband came home in a lot of abdominal pain. It turned out that he ate 4 of my fiber one bars. With those and other things he ate during the day, he consumed 46 grams of fiber that day. Once the fiber was out of his system, he was fine. Gradually increase your fiber intake... So be careful when eating more than one if you are not use to the high fiber.0 -

Yes. I like them. They don't like me.
It's the type of fiber they use (chicory root? I think?) that doesn't agree with me. I can have a Quest bar with 20g of fiber without a toot.0 -
Yeah, it must be what you're used to. I was terribly disappointed last night when I had my first Fiber One brownie (after a meal of pork ribs, even) and didn't fart at all. Sadly, I must already get enough fiber so that my body wasn't fazed.0

The chicory root is definitely a problem for me! I like the Luna fiber bars. De-lish!0 -
Love the Fiber One Brownies and Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies. I eat one every day at lunch. They never give me gas...but now that I've said that, I'll probably be farting up a storm this afternoon. :ohwell:0

Here at our house we like to call them "Fart Bars"0

Agreed about the chicory root. I track my fiber and get plenty, almost always over 25g unless I just have a craptastic day. But if I throw in a Fiber One bar, ugh! It's awful!0 -

Kellog's Fiber Plus bars taste better than Fiber One bars. They even have one that tastes like Girl Scouts Samoas cookies (if you like those).0
