help!! dont know how much cardio/ strength I have done??

I have just done Jillian Michaels extreme shed and shred DVD I only did 1 work out not the 2. I have no idea how much of it was cardio n how much is strength training......to log it on here - sorry new to entering exercise :blushing:

    log the whole thing as circuit training - that's the best and closest way to get the right number. it's under cardio (but so is strength training ;).) do the cardio one, because it tracks calories and tracking your strength training doesnt show calories burned and it seems that is what you want, right?

    Polar FT4 model is cheap and effective. I found mine on Ebay for about $80, although sometimes you can find them cheaper. It tracks your workouts - heart rate, calories burned, length of workout session. The calorie count is just an estimate, but it's a better number to go off of than MFP's, which can be way off.

    Agree with earlier posts - HRM is best way to go. However, I have found the calorie burns listed on MFP to be very close ot my HRM.
