on a mission

I am on a mission to loose 10-15 lbs. I am very active yet I eat really UNHEALTHY. Y do the most unhealthy food taste so dam good. uuggghhhhhhhhhh.... I hope this works for me...feel free to add me and i will do the same. hope everyone reaches their goals....GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think we like what we are familiar with. Try to eat healthier, you you will hopefully learn to like new foods.

    Same here. I love fruits and veggies, but the junk food is just so darn good and easy (open bag or box and your ready to go) whereas the veggies and fruits take a little time sometimes - ie watermelon, cantalope, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, etc have to be cut/prepped before eating. That's what makes it easier for me to return to junk food BUT I'm not going to allow myself to sabotage all the other hard work I'm putting in and neither should you. I have two children who do not like veggies....I have allowed that to keep me from cooking meals since I don't want to her them complain. Well, that thought pattern is not helping me OR them. It's hard. Making correct food choices is hard....but it's not impossible. I log what I eat - - actually write down EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. THAT is an eye-opener. My problem is making time to exercise. I hate to sweat . I work very early in the morning (start at 4 a.m.) and get off in time to get kids from school. After that, I'm running them everywhere and doing errands. I need sleep so try to get in bed by 8:00 or 8:30 so I can make it for my early morning work schedule. I will make time...just not sure how to do it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Good luck!!
