Snacking Dilema

Options
Looking for a snacking advice. I am looking for snack ideas for low car snacks that will not send me off into a snacking whirlwind and that will be me satisfied until lunch or dinner. Oh! it has to be super easy to make without a lot of ingredients, something I can throw together and go. Help!!

I am on my last stretch and need to break through the dreaded plateau.

Special K bars, fat free yogurt and bananas all work for me (but not at the same time  )

If you want low-carb, and I assume low-sugar, then Pure Protein bars are a good choice...and they have alot of protein as well. They help me satisfy my sweat tooth without alot of sugar. Low-fat cottage cheese with some sliced fruit mixed in (optional). Strawberries!! Part-skim Mozzrella cheese sticks. Good luck!

I've been trying baby carrots with FF Italian or Low Fat ranch (very little!!) I just throw them in a Ziploc and go.

Has healthy sugar but I can munch on these and barely eat any calories... always keeps me full. :)

I SWEAR by Fiber One Bars. The peanut butter ones are FANTASTIC so are the chocolate ones. When dieting I can always use as much fiber as I can get!

I can't snack because then I want to just keep eating until I'm full. I pretty much stick to a three-meal-a-day thing, which isn't necessarily recommended in dieting literature, but it is what works for me to curb overeating.... I don't know that it would work for you and your plan, but it's one idea...

Things that work for me are fruit, those 100 calories snack packs, walnuts and weight watchers string cheese

I swear by greek yogurt, 0% Fage...1 cup is 120 calories, 20 grams of protein and 9 carbs. It keeps you full and satisfied, plus it is all natural!

My favourite "treat" is Nature Valley Sweet & Salty bars, one has peanuts, almonds & bits of dark chocolate, so it even satisfies my candy cravings! Best part, they're filling and only 170 calories.

I love the Pure Protein Bars too! They're yummy. I have one every day for my afternoon snack. Approx. 180 - 200 calories depending on flavor. They have about 20 grams protein, low carb - Perfect if you're counting carbs. The flavors are really good. Hard to believe it's good for you!

I live off of cottage cheese. And I'm a firm believer in the Kellogs Fiber Plus bars, especially the chocolate peanutbutter. My roommate is on a huge fiber one kick and has pretty much stocked the pantry with every Fiber One product she can find including bars, 'breakfast pastries', and muffin mix. She swears by all of them.

sugar free jelly - you can be generous with the jelly, take 200g or so out of the mould and put into a cereal bowl top with 125g vanilla fat free yogurt = so good and you can mix it up with different flavors of jelly. using the jelly and yogurt i do this adds up to roughly 80 or so cals... and for an added little twist add some blueberries or raspberries to match the jelly flavor, yum :)
