I have reviewed my food intake for a while and I always exceed the carbs and fat, but come in way under for protein. Do you guys know a great protein source low in fat and carbs?

fish (except salmon), seafood and turkey are all low fat but high protein. also fat free greek yoghurt.0

My usual snack is plain Fage 0% Greek yogurt. A 6 oz. individual cup has 100 calories and 18 grams of protein.
Chicken, turkey, seafood...all high in protein. Incorporate more beans, legumes, etc. for non-animal sources.0 -
Nonfat plain greek yogurt
Beans of almost any kind
chicken and turkey breast
Soy milk
Egg Whites
I am almost always high on protein and under on carbs and fat. I eat a lot of vegetables and the above items. I eat these things almost every day in different ways.0 -

So eat more fat
Or you know, just eat chicken, white fish, light meat turkey... extra lean ground beef...0 -
For starters, most fat is not bad, and a healthy diet should contain 20-30% fat, some even go higher.
Lean meat (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, etc)
cottage cheese (low fat)
low fat Greek Yogurt
edamame
Tofu
low fat fish
protein bars
protein powders
egg whites
etc.0 -
When I'm trying to keep my protein up and carbs and fat down, I'll have three egg whites in the microwave it's quick and easy.
3 large egg whites have 10.7g of protein, 0.17 grams of fat and only 0.72g of carbs.0 -
Canadian bacon.0

THIS. I am the same way (high in protein and low in fat and carbs), and I eat a lot of these things, too. Also, cottage cheese!0 -
Protein Shakes. Mine are simple: Cup of unsweetened almond milk, tbsp peanut butter, maybe a banana, and chocolate protein powder with 24g of protein per scoop. I have around 3 shakes a day, but I'm also shooting for 150-200g of protein a day.0

Greek Yogurt!0

Id say look into some getting protein supplements, but I found that lean turkey has lots of protein. Also roast beef is good as well. Great for sandwiches :-)0

bumping for ideas.0

Greek yogurt fat free or low fat , fat free cottage cheese , egg beaters, fat free milk almond or soy milk , seafood, beans ,quinoa. Any of these are good choices but if you look on the store you can find all kinds of protein pumped foods from diet and nutrition bars to cereal out there as it seems to be the thing to add to food right now.0

Lentils, beans and pulses.
Just cooked up half a kilo of green lentils, some julienne carrots, onions, herbs, stock and a couple of bay leaves. Looks frightful, tastes divine. Most of it's going in the freezer. Defrost in the fridge, reheat in the oven for 25 minutes on a medium heat, might as well do some fish wrapped in foil at the same time, some green veg in a pan, and voila, TV dinner!0 -
Thank you everyone these are great food choices...I love Greek Yogurt. Never thought of some of the other suggestions, they are so obvious now. Thanks again!0

cottage cheese is a complete protien. It's even yummier mixed with diet jell-o or greek yogurt.0
