Protein powders don't all make you gain or bulk up. Just make sure you check for the calorie counts (those aimed for gains are very high in calories).0

try brotein ® It is best consumed first thing in the morning0

I use MuscleTech in chocolate or vanilla. I workout at 4 a.m. and have a scoop mixed with water immediately after my workout. It's low in calorie by itself, but if you're looking for a meal replacement, then I add in milk, pb and spinach for more calories.0

My favorite is Dymatize Elite Whey in the vanilla flavor. It's about $24 from Amazon for 2 pounds, and you can get Prime.0

You may want to check out this active post as well...same discussion, just not gender specific.

I have been using Shaklee 180. It has leucine, which is an amino acid that helps muscles recover after a workout. Most times I use it as meal replacement, but its also wonderful as a recovery drink after a hard workout. I also enjoy that fact that they have 4 flavors instead of just chocolate and vanilla!0
