OKAY I'M BAAACK!!! I successfully lost 35 lbs using myfitnesspal about a year ago or so ago...But recently have gained about 16 lbs back. My PERFECTLY FIT AND HEALTHY MOTHER had Quadruple bypass surgery in October only to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer this January.!!!! Needless to say stress was the cause of this weight gain. But now that the cancer has been removed and radiation has started I'm ready to focus back on my health. My goal is to lose another 30-40 lbs (in addition to the 16 I gained back)...I'm asking for FRIENDS to help me get back on track and be accountable for and with me. There is a breast cancer 5k here in Houston, Texas this coming April (not the Avon one) and my goal is to train and successfully complete that (JOGGING NOT WALKING) to celebrate my mother and her road to recovery. SO ADD ME ADD ME ADD ME!!!! Thanks!!!

Hi
I did the same - lost 48lbs, put 17lbs back on, and have now lost 9lbs of that. I'm determind to get to my goal weight this time, and stay at that weight! I also found life got in the way.
I'm sorry to hear about your mum.
Have a look at my profile, and add me if you like.
Good luck!0
