Hi everyone,

Just got a really good recipe for making sweet potatos chips/fries (I've never tried sweet potato before!!) that I'm going to make tonight - but what should I eat them with? How "sweet" are they? Would it go with vegetables? And maybe some chicken?

Any ideas are most welcome! I'm trying to try new foods to boost me past my plateux! :)

Well, we're having some tonight, with kale and corn on the cob. It's a good mix!

Do you mind posting the recipe? I love sweet potato fries. Thanks
  • I love sweet potatoes! Most of the time I bake them and just season it with a little cinnamon. Keep in mind that they take longer to cook than russett or red bliss potatoes. I usually pair sweet potatoes with chicken.

Sooo yummy. They go great with anything really. Our favorite is with pork.
  • I love them with chicken covered in Cajun spices and some grilled large mushrooms with a slice of tomato and a chunk of mozzarella on top x

Thank you! Think I might try it with some spiced chicken (maybe cajun or bbq) and some salad. I hope I like them! :)

Should I boil my sweet potatoes first? Or straight into the oven?? Just chopped one up and they seem really hard! Haha
