Getting impatient

Well, I've lost 40 pounds over six months, and I've always been happy with 'slow and steady wins the race'. The last few days though I have been getting increasingly impatient. I want to be at my target weight now dammit.
I keep repeating the platitudes to myself - "What comes off slow, stays off", "It's a marathon, not a sprint", blah-de-blah-de-blah, but they aren't changing anything. Hopefully this will just be a phase. I don't intend to change anything, or look for any sort of quick-fix, since I know they don't exist.
Anyone else experience this impatience, even when they know they are doing things right?

I think everyone does to an extent, one of the reasons so many of those fad diets/pills/etc exist....we are not a very patient society lol:drinker: but good job keeping a level head :glasses:
ETA: great job on the weight loss as well!! Can't wait til I'm there0
