Question about # cal. burned in strength training. . .

My strength training is pretty rigorous and I was surprised to discover that, according to this site, I wasn't burning more than maybe 180 cal. in 50-60 min. of strength. So I got a HRM to verify and according to it I'm burning about 350 cal. each session. Does that sound impossibly high to you? I wonder how accurate this thing is. (It's a Polar FT4, BTW.)
I also discovered I burn around 25% less cal. on the elliptical than the machine itself says and on a stationary bike the opposite is true. Which do I believe? My HRM and the machines are using the same HR data, so . . . ?

As long as your HR Monitor is accurate I would go with it. Machines are used over and over all day long with different people and different heartrates! I don't think they are calibrated correctly over time. So what I would do is check your HR manually, and then check it with the monitor, if the monitor is about the same go with the calories burned it tells you.0

I would go with the HRM.0
