What should put for my daily activity?

Hi! I need some help!! I really don't know what I should put for my daily activity and/or lifestyle. You know, the thing that says- sedentary, light active, active, or very active. Here's a little bit of what I do durin the week- I work 8 hours a day 4-5 days a week at Subway as a sandwich artist/ cashier, I have an 18 month old that I care for and play with when I get home from work, and I go to the gym 2 days a week MINIMUM and spend at least an hour there each time I go.

So, obviously I'm not sedentary, but would I be considered light active, active, or very active????

Please HELP!!!

I am leaning towards light active here.

You're on your feet 8 hours a day, and go to the gym 2 days a week. You're "active" at the very least!

Thanks for the input! I'm new to all this "doing it the right way" stuff and I want to be as accurate as I possibly can!

Don't count your gym time toward that daily activity setting unless you NEVER plan to eat back any exercise calories. It's either/or here. If you read closely, MFP states you only count your WORK, not workouts in figuring daily activity. You then are allowed to eat back any calories you burn in exercise. If you count that exercise toward your daily activity, and also log it, you'll be "double-dipping".

Based on your work/life, I'd suggest lightly active and log the exercise separately. See how it goes for a while and then decide if you need to change that up or down.

Thanks cordianet. I was thinking that too, but I was just not sure.
