Any other new stay at home mums out there?

Hi guys,

I've just officially resigned for work to be a stay at home mum. I'm so lucky to have the chance to do this, but I'm also finding it hard! I wouldn't change anything for the world but really miss being good at a job and respected for being good at something other than the cleaning and being a mum! So, I'm finding the baby weight extra hard to shift because I'm feeling a bit down at the moment and have the biscuit tin to comfort me!

Would love to know other mums out there so that we can all support each other!

  • Hi there. Im kelly i just joined today ive been a stay at home mum for almost 8 years i have 3 children my eldest 2 are in school my youngest starts nursery in september i wont be able to work until my youngest is in full time school. I really know how you feel doing the same routine day in and out gets most of us mums down just know you are not alone. Im 29 this year and feel that all my 20's have been about having babies and being a mum and house wife which im now use too. Lol. But i do look forward to the future when i can finally work, socialise and have some independance back. :)
  • Congratulations on your decision to stay home! My wife does (we have three kids under age 7), and while it was harder financially, we don't regret it one bit. She is so proud to have so much influence on her daughters by being with them most hours of the day, it really has been a wonderful experience.
