I want to buy the Polar RS100 HRM... the main reason why i want to buy it/one is so if I go out for a run for an hour it can tell me what my average heart rate is...I know you can look down and see "170" if you are going hard and then "130" if you are going lighter...but I want to be able to get the average heart rate for that hour...so an easy example... If I spent 30 mins at 170 and 30 mins at 130 it would read "150" as the average hr. So does anyone know if I would be able to get the average HR for the hour? thanks

I have the RS100 and yes it does give you your average HR for the completed session.
Also cals used and % of those that were in fat burning zone.
It also has lap function so you can break those sessions up - which is good.0 -
Thank you both for your replies!!0
