I'm roughly 10-15lbs less than my wedding. Not sure of my exact weight because I was a stress eater while planning and gained weight BEFORE my wedding and didn't step on the scale. I gained weight after, too, which is what prompted me to come here. We've been married 2.5 years.

I am 5"5.5. I was 117ish lbs when I got married and am 127 now but gained a lot more than that in between (plus two children.) Our 5th wedding anniversary is this July. I don't have a recent full body shot but have multiple pictures in my profile.

I have a lot more muscle than I did then. My husband is 30 pounds heavier and *way* more muscular.

I was about 5'11" around 165....now some 40 plus years later, I may even be a tad shorter and an additional 40 lbs heavier.

I was bigger than I am now, in regards to pounds. I was around 145lbs then and I'm around 122lbs now. I just feel like I looked thinner then? I don't know.

I've been married for 8 years now.

My husband has gained weight since then. He had an ex-military body when we got married and he's overweight now. I think he just got happy in our marriage and I know when he's ready to tackle it, he will.

4.5 years and 2 kids later I weigh 41 lbs more than on my wedding day. Hoping for a little more of a break between kids (should we have more) to get those numbers down again!

On the plus side I'm still 30 lbs lighter than when I first met my husband 10 years ago.

When my hubby and I met 15+ yrs ago, we were both around 155. (I am 5'6", he is 5'8") By the time we married 16 months later, we were both around 175. I got pregnant and he gained with me up to almost 200. He stopped before he hit it. I didn't. After a serious back injury I ended up gaining up to 237 at my highest around 2005. He started riding his bike again and lost around 20 pounds over a few years.
When I started here in Aug 2012, I was 228 and he was around 178. Six months later, I am down to 192 and he is down to 158.

So since day one, I have never weighed less than my husband, and it really sucks! lol. But I am not giving up until I pass him on the way down.
Note- that no matter what size either of us were at, it didn't change our love for each other, or physical attraction to each other. My husband says when he looks at me, he always sees the hot chick that he met years ago. Yeah, he's a keeper!

I have been married for 36 years. I am almost exactly the same weight as when I was married. I believe I'm in considerably better shape (stronger) than I was then. Of course, seven months ago I was 85 pounds heavier and in poor physical shape. My wife was a very slender young woman when we got married. She has gained some weight since, but she is still within normal range for weight.

I've been married for 13 years. I was 130# on my wedding day. I looked pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. I'm at 142 now, but I have a lot more muscle and basically wear the same size. Almost. My wedding dress was somewhat form fitting and it's a little tighter around the hips now.

I've been married for nearly 17 years.......I was about 68kg (around 149-150lbs) when I got married (didn't diet or do anything special before I got married - I was just always around that weight during those days), I then progressively put on weight until I got to my biggest that I've ever been last year 115.8kg (nearly 255lbs) (other than when I was pregnant)......I'm 5'8" so being taller I could ignore myself getting bigger for longer. I started MFP last October and have lost almost 22lbs (200g short of 10kg down so far).
Hubby has put on weight as well since we got married - not as much - around 20kg...I told him the other day that he is overweight now according to the BMI charts as he was busy trying to tell me that I'm the only one that was overweight (he carries it all around his middle - he still has skinny legs).......

I've been married for 4 years, I'm probably at a similar weight right now as I was on my wedding day, but I've lost a ton of weight, gotten pregnant and gained it back since then. Work in progress.

I got married in July 2010 (a little over 2.5 years ago). When I first met my husband (August 2008), I was probably hovering around 155-165 (border of healthy/unhealthy for my height), but I was up to probably between 170-175 on our wedding day. My husband likes to make interesting food, and since we met because we were living in the same co-op house, we shared meals basically every day since I moved in. Apparently, it's a bad idea to split food 50/50 with someone who is 6'5". :P While I had some vague plans to lose weight before the wedding, I was too caught up in grad school to really make a good effort.

Post-marriage... I kept gaining (still splitting food 50/50) and didn't try very hard to lose weight. The highest number I ever saw on a scale was 189, and at that point, I was down to one pair of pants that still fit. I had a choice - buy new pants in a higher size that I'd never had to get before, or lose weight so that the other pants I owned would fit. I decided that I'd prefer the cheaper and healthier option, and joined MFP soon thereafter.

I'm now less than 2 pounds from the upper edge of what's considered healthy - at least 10 pounds less than I was on my wedding day. :)

I'm 10 pounds lighter than when i got married, and I'm definitely more active. A few months before i got married the company i worked for lost their office and i worked from home for four months, i think i put on 20 lbs during that time. I've been married almost seven years.

I actually don't know how much I weighed on my wedding day. I'd been ill for most of the year before my wedding and on medication that made me bloat up massively, so I was bigger than I would have liked to be but my dress was corsetted to let me get away with some of the weight gain.

I'd bought a dress to wear the day after the wedding and when I got it I could do it up but it was rather tight. When the wedding came around, it wouldn't even come close to doing up so I put it away and wore something else.

Today, I decided on a whim to try on that dress and not only does it do up but it's considerably looser than it was when I bought it!

I'm about 15 or 20 lbs smaller than I was on my wedding day, 6 1/2 years ago. I'm less toned, though, thanks to having 2 kids. My husband is about the same, he has gained about 10 lbs, and has a bit of a stomach on him that didn't used to be there. Overall, though, I think we are more healthy, because we've changed our eating habits. :)

How has your body changed since the day you got married? Are you the same? Fatter/thinner? Fitter/lazier? Flabbier/tighter? Etc.

Oh and how long ago were you married?

What about your spouse? Have they changed in a similar way?

as of this morning I am exactly the same weight I was when I got married. I am fitter then I was then, but have skin issues due to babies not due to marriage. However, a year and half ago I was 210lbs and really lazy.

We got married almost 7 years ago.

and my hubby is still the same, well actually he's been working out so I would have to say he is fitter, but he has always been thin and in pretty good shape.

I gained about 20 pounds after we got married before things finally clicked. My husband lost about 50 lbs by just changing his eating habits.

And look at those awesome leg muscles you have! Wow!

And you look so much younger! Brilliant!

I got married in August 2008 and I'm a bit thinner now. Well, about a clothes size smaller, and a lot more toned. I've had 2 children since getting married (my son is June 2009 and daughter in May 2011) and i put a lot of weight on in both pregnancies, especially my 2nd one.

My husband hasn't changed much really. He's not overweight anyway, althoigh could probably do with exercising more. He did P90X for a while and was looking great, but as a shift worker he finds it hard, and our kids just get in the way when he tries to exercise at home.

I'm thinner and way more toned now. My husband looks great...his metabolism is still running circles around mine. We've been married for 4 years.
