Size 8 to Size 6?

I'm 4'11 and weigh 117 pounds, or 8st 5. I currently fit a size 8 UK and would like to fit a size 6. I'm not sure what measurements / weight I need to be to achieve this so I wanted to get some other opinions?

Bust: 31.3 inches
Waist: 25.5 inches
Hips: 34.4 inches

Thanks

Go to an online UK clothing site and look at the size chart. It will have measurements there. Like this: http://www.asos.com/infopages/SizeGuide/pgesizechart.aspx?r=2

It depends where you store your fat and how much fat you still have. If there is even a possibility the best way is a small calorie deficit and weight training to help cut fat and maintain your muscle.. but in the end genetics can always prevail. Its just a size, i wouldnt worry about it too much

I would recommend this one too! You can put in your current measurements and see what size you take at different shops, or you can play around with the sliders to see what you'd need to be to fit into, say, a Warehouse size 6. For instance, 32-26-35 is already a size 6 at Gap, Next, Zara, etc.

Wow that calculator was so wrong for me! It was off by 3 sizes at stores I shop at! I know my measurements don't necessarily translate into a size 6, which is what I wear, but that site says I should be in a size 12, which is laughable since my size 10s are falling off of me.

I think the calculator just goes by the shops' size guides, which don't necessarily tally exactly with the clothes they sell! I found the calculator was correct for me according to the individual store, but in person I could fit into a smaller size.

Were you on the US tab, not the UK tab? If you were on the wrong tab, that could explain the sizes being so off. How did they compare to the stores' advertised sizes?

I find that the problem is not the calculator, but the stores actually making clothes a different size than they advertise on their size guides. But the calculator gives you an idea and it's fun to play with!
