285 pounds and fat + hard work and dedication =

Well, I started my new lifestyle dec 5th of 2011 after lookin in the mirror one day and being completely disgusted with myself. I was at a point where I've never been before and was so damn unhealthy. I was having issues just doing every day things like walking up stairs without losing my breath, and needed that to stop.
I wound up losing 47 pounds from dec 5th - may 1st, then another few from then until mid june, where i decided to take a break for the summer. I was down to around 225 and feeling great about myself. I carried around 220 through high school, so it had been 7 years since I was near that weight (since i started slowly gaining from college until that december). Summer came, I enjoyed myself and relaxed, and gained 11 pounds back. I resumed my healthy lifestyle on August 1st (my daughters 2nd birthday) and was at my normal pace, until my gf/baby's mom decided to break up with me over the phone after 3 1/2 years at the end of the month (lmfao, go figure right). I took it with a grain of salt as i wasn't really happy, just there because of the kid, and threw it into full throttle. Here I am, 6 months later, and am 214 pounds and feelin good about myself. I know 20 pounds over 6 months isnt a lot to lose, but i'm going at 1/2 pound a week loss USUALLY and am trying to maintain muscle mass along the way. I got a LONG way to go before i'm happy with where i'm at, but i'm on my way
Anywho, enough of the blah blah blah, on to the pictures SORRY FOR THE BIG PICTURES, I HATE THE NEW PHOTO BUCKET FORMAT AND IT DOESNT SEEM TO CHANGE EVEN WHEN RESIZED
