Turbo Fire

I have a question, I don't always have the time to do the 45/55 minute ones.
So I was wondering what if I just did the HIIT videos, since they are shorter.
Do you guys think the program would be as effective? and I also strength train, just don't follow the video for strength training.

I will admit I wondered that as well; however, I think no. I think you need to give your body a little break from the HIIT and do the 45/55 minute classes. To be honest, they are not that bad. I have 2 kids who have after-school activities, I work 40+ hours a week and my husband is deployed right now, I am busy...lol. I do not have a lot of extra time; however, I have worked it out that I just do Turbo Fire at 8pm each night. Right when the kids get in bed so I am not distracted and enough time after dinner (which is usually about 6:30-7pm).
I finally realized that I had to actually MAKE the time to do this workout and the reason I was not successful the last time I tried it was because I didn't do that.
Good luck!!!0 -

I am doing a hybrid of Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme right now. This is my second time through and I can tell you from experience that you should really put a day between your HIIT workouts. You heart rate gets so high, and it will stay higher for awhile! (love that AFTER BURN!) I usually do my workouts at night, too. Usually around 9pm. On days when that doesn't work, my 3 year old does it with me, she loves it!
Those schedules really are set up for a reason! Try to follow as close as possible (but don't feel bad if you do need to move some around!) It is such a good idea to prep and schedule your entire week out! Take an hour or 2 Sunday to get your self ready, and I think you will be surprised how much extra time you might find! Good Luck!!0 -

Oh and I found the actual answer last night...lol. No you are not supposed to just do HIIT constantly because it can lead to more injuries, it actually mentions is in the books that come with the TF set. Plus even though the "regular" workouts are still crazy, they are not as intense as the HIIT so it still gives your muscle some downtime.0 -
I usually do a HIIT and then Les Mills Pump directly after that. Like if I'm doing HIIT 25 that day, I'll do a 30 minute Pump. The next day, I only do cardio though, either TurboFire or Combat. The longer HIITS are pretty killer for me!!! lol0

Hi!
They don't recommend doing HIIT training more than 3 times a week and not back to back. So you could still mix it in with your other workouts. I personally like the 45 EZ DVD. Good luck!! Always remember variety is key0
