I bought a Large dress today!

I have a wedding coming up in two weeks, my husband's side of the family. What used to be a dreaded dress shopping experience, today was awesome! I was able to buy a Large from the "normal" womens section!!!! Considering last November I was a size 24 with very limited clothing options, I am so excited!! While I still have a long way to go on my weight loss journey, it is little wins like this that keep me going. Thanks to you all for helping with this journey.

    While I was folding laundry this morning, I was thinking how I am so excited to buy clothes that do not have an 'X' anywhere on the tag. :)

    Congratulations on reaching size large!!!! I am at that in between stage of being able to leave the plus size clothing department and into the 'normal' sizes so I can understand your excitement. Part of my motivation for losing weight was to be able to wear the cuter smaler sizes. You wouldn't think there'd be such a style difference between 1x and extra large, but there is. Enjoy the wedding!
